Corporate Social Responsibility

"I was taught, by example, that Corporate Social Responsibility includes investing in the communities in which you work. You must give, not only take." These are the words of Jim Johnson, President and CEO, GE Johnson Construction Company.

For GE Johnson Construction Company, this umbrella we call Corporate Social Responsibility is both BROAD and INTERWOVEN. It encompasses EMPLOYEE Needs, SUSTAINABILITY Issues and COMMUNITY Concerns in the geographical areas in which we live and work.

It is BROAD because we work in multiple communities. Across the Rocky Mountain Region, from Colorado Springs, CO, to Jackson, WY, and all parts in between, we work, live, and invest in these communities.

Corporate Social Responsibility starts with providing our employees with a work environment that allows them to meet both their personal and professional goals. It means creating a culture that allows a new employee to grow and develop while realizing that they are valued. It also means creating a culture that more senior employees know they are valued as much today as they were when they were just building their career. It is building a culture that values diversity of thought, gender and ethnicity.

We strive to build a culture of trust. "The rewards of trusting relationships", is a cornerstone of who GE Johnson Construction Company is. This is reflected with all of our Stakeholders. We are proud of our Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, because we do believe in giving back and not just taking.
