Dave Ivis, Executive Vice President

Dave began his career with GE Johnson Construction in 2004 as the Executive Vice President. Currently, he oversees the GE Johnson operations, in addition to supporting marketing and preconstruction activities. He has had direct oversight of Marketing and Preconstruction activities and Client relations along with all aspects of Operations during his career. Dave has served in an executive role for 20-years and has established a broad experience base over the past 35 years in the commercial construction industry. He has built projects throughout the United States and Mexico. Dave holds a Construction Engineering Degree from Iowa State University.

  • CDA Board President in 2010
  • Associated General Contractors of Colorado, AGC
  • AGC Board President in 2011
  • Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry, CACI

Dave and his wife Jeannie have three adult sons. Dave enjoys many outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, motor sports and traveling. He also enjoys volunteering for many community associations, including Habitat for Humanity, Denver Rescue Mission, and the American Cancer Society.
