Michael D. Harms, Vice President

Mike began his career with GE Johnson in 2005 as Vice President of Project Development. In this role, Mike was charged with bringing the efforts and resources of the firms Estimating, Preconstruction and Business Development functions together to improve the continuity of GE Johnson’s "front end" services. Mike has been in the commercial general contracting market in Colorado since 1986. He spent the first ten years of his career managing construction projects throughout the state in roles as Project Engineer, Project Manager and Project Executive. Mike then went into senior management in the Director of Operations role, where he manages all aspects of field construction and personnel management on a variety of project types. Mike has worked on notable Colorado projects such as Denver International Airport, the Broadmoor Hotel, the Pepsi Center, and St. Anthony Replacement Hospital.

Mike and his wife Elaine have one daughter, Rachel. With Elaine being a native of Scotland, the family spends time travelling throughout that bonnie land, as well as other parts of Europe. Travel has always been a family activity spending additional time on the Baja California peninsula when possible. Elaine finally took up her country's pastime of golf and now enjoys chasing the little white ball around with Mike on weekends.
