The east tower, is a 6-floor bed tower with two levels of medical office space. The building was tied into the existing hospital which required a comprehensive plan for coordination while maintaining the hospital’s existing operations. This multi-phased, 275,000 square foot project designed by RTA Architects and HKS Architects includes a new chapel, loading dock and parking garage expansion, reconfiguration of the site utilities and associated site work. GE Johnson completed 6 independent enabling projects with a contract value of $8.8 million which allowed the east bed tower to proceed.
